Video delimma...any suggestions?

A friend of mine has the now non-supported Diamond Stealth S540 Extreme and is experiencing lots of glitches and anomalies in 3D games. (Diablo 2 etc...)

I have two questions:

Is there a decent set of drivers lurking somewhere which would give him reason to keep the card?

What is the best card for $130 and down to mate up with a Athlon 700 on the Abit KA7.

Go and get the Radeon DDR LE from www.newegg.com for about $83 shipped. This card performs awesome, better than the MX, and close to the GTS in high res and 32bit color. The DVD playback is awesome and the image quality is top notch. I have this card and it is an awesome card, much better than my Voodoo3 2000, and it seems like your stealth is worse than mine, so you'll be getting a big improvement over your stealth.
