A friend of mine has the now non-supported Diamond Stealth S540 Extreme and is experiencing lots of glitches and anomalies in 3D games. (Diablo 2 etc...)

I have two questions:

Is there a decent set of drivers lurking somewhere which would give him reason to keep the card?

What is the best card for $130 and down to mate up with a Athlon 700 on the Abit KA7.

 
you could get a geforce2 mx or a radeon le or radeon 32mb ddr. all are good I prefer the radeon le 80 bucks and good power for the buck. If he would spend a little more like 145-150 he could get a geforce2 gts and that would be a good purchase.
