Ok, I just installed win 2000 and everything is working great...all except for my video controller. The drivers aren't installed. To be honest, I haven't a clue where to look for drivers at so any ideas would be helpful.

I have an Asus A7V133 mobo and GeForce 2 32mb Pr

Thanks in advance

Goto Nvidia's Website and download the latest Detonator unified drivers. They are usually the best option and cover all Nvidia products from the TNT2 through GeForce4.

Yah, I've tried that and no luck. The listing in device manager is Video Controller(VGA compat) so I wasn't sure if it actually meant the card :)

I also tried the newest via 4 in 1, no good(surprise). Could it be a problem with 2000? Maybe a BIOS update?

ok warren, i think i got it.
try to find a copy of the nvidia drivers in zip form. extract them to a folder, and rather than running the nvidia installer, use "update driver" from the device manager. point to the folder you extracted the files to, and hopefully that will work.
i still dont understand why the hell it wont work like its supposed to, but i got mine working and i'm not going to argue with it.

i dont think it matters if you use older drivers or not, since you should be able to update normally once you do this. i got my files from guru3d.com...the exact file i used was titled "Detonator 28.32 modified with support NVidia Refresh Rate Fix".

now i'm going to go pop open a beer and pat myself on the back :)

let me know if it works for you.
