Is it possible. I think there might be a hardware firewall blocking our connection. It just wont allow a connection to be established. Any help would be great. We are both using win xp. Thanks.

You might want to find out what ports they block and set the program to use another one if you can? Campuses tend to lock down everythign these days, so you may want to ask them if its an innocent purpose like this. They will probably help you out, it's just if you call up and say, i'm tyring to run an ftp/game server/dos attack on some network they'll probably give you problems.
