perhaps the older Lightnings.. but the new ones run quite a bit quicker from what I understand.


Man I wish GM would make the Silverado SS. It would be nice for ford to have some competition in that particular niche market. Sure, the upcoming SSR with the LS1 is a &quot;truck&quot; thats fast as hell, but its also ugly. :| Would love to see a Silverado SS line up with an SVT Lightning. competition would be great for both Ford and GM lovers, the companies would be &quot;forced&quot; to make the trucks better and better. (read: FASTER )

having like 3-5 different programs for each format is such a bummer! I WOULD like to keep my system as simple as possible. So I guess it's my loss that I refuse to install real or quicktime. total bummer for some of those theatrical trailers too. Hopefully, they will make a stardard player by next year, all these new formats are getting so dam annoying.

anyway, talking about japanese car modifications... rice cakes .... those guys are insane! hell, they could supp up a VW beatle to 700HP no problem. I'll just stick with cars UNDER 200hp, for insurance purposes

OK I really love the sound of a rumbling V8 being let lose, but that Skyline sounds awesome. To me it just sounds like a rabid animal let free with so much anger...and boy does it move. 9 sec 1/4 is damn frigging fast.

svtpower Unlike the Lighting the BMW M3 isn't meant only as a drag car. Put an M3 vs. a Lighting around a track and suddenly you'll see that the Lighting would better have been suited to carrying around belt sanders and sacs of cement

dont judge a cars acceleration on only 0-60. Quater mile is a much better test. Valhalla, that car hit 8.73 sec quater mile. That is pretty good, for any car.
