Hello people, would just like to say that i have a ASUS V7700 GFORCE II PURE 32 MEG on the way.I found it on pricewatch for 112.00 beans retail version!I did not want to spend 300.00 beans for a video card.I always wait at least a year before the top of line card drops in price.Currently i own a VOODOO 3 3000 that i paid 99.00 beans for, when thet first came out they were 200.00 bucks.I bought and tested all the top on line cards and found that not many could match the voodoo in bang for buck arena.Mostly i run my resolution at 800 by 600 which suits me fine.People dont realize that you dont need a top of line card if your only runnin at lower resolutions! The voodoo only runs at 2x but performs nicely even at this bandwith limit. It is amazing what drivers can do for a card designed mainly for glide and open gl applications.I tested the GFORCE 2 MX 200 and found that benchmarks in 2d and d3d were greatly unmatched compared to the voodoo 3,a card that doesnt even support itself no longer. The lighting and texture very nice but seem to hessitate at times playing DELTA FORCE LAND WARRIOR!!!My point is that dont waste your money on high priced video card when the mid range cards do just fine for tasks given.Lastly if you want a video card that play all your games nicely go with the TNT2 or mayby step up to the gforce. But for you people with a tighter budget just get the TNT2,you can find one im sure for around 30 beans, not bad for a card that will do it all!!!Oh yea i forgot, the voodoo 3 sells for under 40 beans and will still hang with the big boys!!!Can someone suggest what video card i should get, hehe!!!! :) :)

I think most hardcore gamers would challenge your line of thining here. They want FPS at all costs. As for me, I am still using my Voodoo 3 3500 TV. This card let's me play all my games just fine and I didn't have to buy a tv for my bedroom. :) My only wish is that they had released the final version of the win2k drivers before going belly up. I think it was about 1 week after they released the RC1 drivers. Anyway, do any of you guys know who might be making new drivers for this card?

On the website they only list the RC1 drivers. Where did you see the final release for 3500?
