OK, I'm not a clever guy, so someone has probably raised this before, but I searched the last 90 days and couldn't find it. SO:

Is it possible to get T&L enabled video cards to do crackwork? Will the 100% usage fry them? Will they do enough keys to make it worthwhile?

If this is an old/bad idea please be gentle.
 
Old idea. No client has been written to access the T&L engine, and it doesn't sound like they will write one. They don't have one for Play Station 2's either.
