i currently have toshiba a215-s7422 and have a ATI Radeon X1200 video card on it. Can I upgrade it?

You might do a little better with the nVidia 6100 only because you can allocate more memory to it but basically you got what you got.

Yea, that's integrated. And laptops in general aren't intended to have video upgraded. Only thing I can think of is to allocate more memory and overclocking it. The latest atitool might work and if it's anything like the desktop x1200, you could probably get a 20-40% overclock out of it, though you would probably only see roughly a 5-10% increase in game performance.
