just want to know if Asus is planning on coming out with a Nvidia Geforce 6800 AGP video card
the only one i see is the V9980 which is a 5950FX
and links where i can read some information?? thanks in advance
 
ASUS has a history of supporting the NVIDA product line...I would see no reason for you to not assume that they will do so with the much anticipated 6800 line....of course..that doesnt mean you will be getting the best bang for your buck by waiting for that card...NVIDIA has let there loyal fan base down by dicking around with the release of this product...ATI has stolen away a lot of NVIDIA fan base and it has been going on for quite a while..in fact..since the release of the ATI 8500.
 
I am pretty sure ASUS would probably come out with both lines of video cards.

For fanATIcs they will release
AX800Pro => 12 pipe R420
AX800XT => 16 pipe R420

For nVidiots they will release
V9999-TVD ultra => Ultra 6800
V9999 Gamers Edition => vanilla 6800
+ and most likely a 6800GT and 6800 model too...


So you don't have to worry.. ASUS will have something for you.
