Ok. I don?t know where to start. I've had issue with pc's and hardware before, but this is a real snake in the grass.
I happily discovered video download services, like Vongo, Movielink, cinemanow and walmarts. They worked great. Movielink was nice because they also offer rentals and often have sales for rentals. You can get most any "out in the stores" rental for $1.99. That sure beats driving, renting, then returning.
Now the snake in the grass...
Some rentals from movielink would not play. No error msgs, just a black screen. Movielink cs said it was issues with FOX released movies and something called COPP copy protection, and a lot of video cards. And "they" are working on it.
My ati express 1150 card is MB integrated. Latest ati driver also.
So I ask, are there any ati video cards (non MB integrated) that get around this problem??? This might be an issue for the highly tech board, because its a real mess getting to the bottom of this issue.
Not too many use video download services, a few but not many. I can see why. DRM COPP yikes!!!
