I am thinking about upgrading my old AMD to an ECS K7s5a motherboard with an Athlon 1-1.2 ghz processor. I am not doing any games - what video card would be recommended?

If you play no games what so ever than the any matrox card will do.

Go with the cheapest one you can find.

Seriously, it depends totally on your budget and what you intend to use the system for.
 
No CAD rendering! The system will mainly be used for Internet browsing, running as a DHCP server for other machines, playing MP3.

Budget is under $100.
