Video Card Woes

I recently discovered just how dated my Voodoo3 3K is when I picked up tribes 2. 🙁
The question is, which card (radeon, Gf2, Kyro) should I get (seeing as I'm spending a fortune on a trip to DC soon) that will give me the best value and best performance for my cash.
Another problem I've run into is that though I've been looking into getting a GF2 Pro (due to the comments I've seen here), but I can't decide on a vendor as all my usuals don't carry it or charge WAY too much... any suggestions on either topic would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

P.S. Due to further reading, I'm now completely confused as to which card to get...maybe I'll just curl up in a ball in the corner of the room...
 
A couple things that would probably help people answer your question:

1) How much are you willing to spend?

2) What games do you play besides Tribes 2?

 
Just to note: Tribes 2 plays fine on my bro's GF2 GTS 32Mb (with a Celeron II 566 @ 901)...

So if you got a GTS 64Mb, you'd be even better off...
