Video card with 4 outputs?

Looking to replace my 6600GT with a new video card that has 4 DVI outputs. Don't really game that much, so what's out there that's good and at a decent price? I am looking to spend at most $150, but the cheaper the better.

Thanks for any recommendation.

No such card within your budget with 4 DVI. There are the Sapphire flex cards that give you 3 DVI and 1 displayport. Then you'll need a $30 displayport -> dvi adapter for the 4th display. Cheapest flex card is ~$100 for the 5670.

They also have 5770, 6870 and 6950 but the last 2 are out of your budget for sure.

Any non multi-gpu cards with > 3 displays all have at least 1 displayport. So either flex or maybe a used 4850x2 if you are interested in more demanding games.

One other alternative is the workstation card firepro 2450 if you don't need anything 3D. It comes with breakout cables to 4 DVI. It's usually $200+ but I see 1 on ebay with 3 days left and no bids.

r00kie has it correct. There are no mainstream cards that fit your criteria. Professional cards (Matrox, FirePro etc) are too expensive for your budget, and the few oddity X2 cards with 4DVI are now long discontinued (used market?).

Going the DisplayPort adaptor route might work if card+adaptor is within budget. Or if this is simply for 2D desktop, how about 2 ultra-low end cards, each with 2DVI (requires 2 expansion slots total)?

here 6 x DVI outputs:

a 5870 eyefinity 6 version (2gb Vram), costs around 220$.

Enjoy gameing like this (afterwards):

oops.... Mini Display ports.

Easy "fix" solution though 🙂

x6 of these guys (~15$ each), and you ll be able to connect 6x DVI displays.

The eyefinity 5 and 6 cards only come with 3 adapters so op would still need to buy a 4th adapter if going that route. The sub $20 adapters are all passive, to my knowledge, and won't work. the eyefinity 6 card was $180 at the cheapest but add on a 4th adapter and it's still way more than given budget of $150.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I am very much interested in the Eyefinity 6 card even though it is a little over my budget. According to the Newegg link, it comes with the following in package:

GV-R5876P-2GD-B
User's Manual
Driver Disk
1 x mini-display port to HDMI
2 x mini-display port to DVI
2 x mini-display port to display port
1 x crossfire bridge
1 x 6pin power cable
1 x 8pin power cable

My monitors have display port connectors, so I won't have to spend money on the adapters. It's very doable, thank you guys! Now time for bargain hunting!

cheapest: (depending on your motherboard)
two pcie video cards with 2 outputs each. 2 x 35$

more flexible: eyefinity card
-Powercolor 5770 eyefinty5 (probably no longer being made, but still available in retail)
-Sapphire 5670, 5770, 6870 flex
-even the standard 6850 6870 support 4 displays as long as 2 are dp
-or 5870 eyefinity6

as a rule if you have displayport monitors, you generally have tons more options.

I use ATI FirePro 2460, and like it.

However, under Windows 7, misbehaves if all monitors have different resolutions.
