I want to buy a new LCD monitor. It's 20.1 Widescreen and the spec said recommended resolution is 1680x1050
I check my video card and it doesn't have the resolution listed.
Will my picture come out distorted since it's widescreen.
I went to new egg and look for video card that support that and none seems to be listed on their spec.
Could someone please tell me which one support that resolution. I want at least 256MB memory on it.
(the card on my machine right now is Gigabyte Radeon 9200 with 128mb)

Thanks.

Further clarification, your video card will support it. The reason you don't see that resolution on your current setup is because the drivers detect what your monitor can use and hides the resolutions that is not supported. I hope you're not trying to play modern games with that 9200 on a 1680x1050 screen at it's native resolution. It'd choke. 2D would be fine though.

Great. I don't have to buy a new one.
I'm not much of a game person. I just want the picture to look normal not distorted on the screen that's all.

Thanks all
