Hackerballs you may be talking about Crysis or Crysis 2, Crysis 3 won't run on a GTX 275 because it doesn't support Direct X 11. I run a GTX 275 and found that out the hard way.
yeah he has just be making up stuff all along now. that or he is just flat out confused. first his son had a gtx460 then he said his son had a gtx560 ti 448sp so he lost me there. lol

if your 770 is oced you will be able to average almost 60 fps on very high with shadows on medium and using SMAA 1 or 2 at 1080. any decent card can run 16x AF will basically no performance it for years now.

Thanks. Yes my GTX 770 4 GB is overclocked it is the OC version. It was just as cheap as the other normal GTX 770 4 GB so why not ? It came that way. We the cooling system I expect it to come overclocked.

So shadows above medium make no difference? Can they only go on High or Very High too ?

Which 770 is the quietest? The MSI one? If I'm thinking about upgrading to a 1440p monitor should I get 4GB or is 2GB still enough?

Good thing the AMD "reveal" was useless for aiding decision making. 🙄

I'd go 4GB just to have the extra. It will help into the future if you don't plan to upgrade for a little while. The MSI Gaming card seems the quietest but the Asus is also very good. I doubt you could hear the 5dbA difference

try the shadow settings for yourself. for me I cant tell the difference except performance goes down.
