Is it worth upgrading from a 9700 pro to a agp 6600gt?

System specs are

P4 2.4
512 meg ram
9700 pro
Samsung 160 gig drive
Turtle beach sound card


 
not really. wait till next year. 9700pro still runs pretty well right? last time i checked, HL-2 works well on the 9700Pro.
 
Wait for the next gen. I'm going from GeForce 4 Ti to a 6600GT, and then I'll probably early adopt a 512 MB card when they get here.
