I'm looking to replace my 8800gt with a new card. For budget I'm open to spending the 200-250 if its something that might last a little (which with video card I know isnt much)

Here's the rest of the rig
Q9450 OC to 3.2ghz
4gb DDR2 memory
Abit IP35 Pro

BFG 650W PSU

I run on a 22" @ 1680x1050

I was looking at possibly a 1gb 460GTX or debating if I should just hold off and build up a new i7 based rig.

Thanks for any advice.

Right now I'm mostly playing APB (All Points Bulletin that is based on the Unreal Engine)

Your system and budget is perfect for a gtx460.

The evga gtx 460 1gb with a free download of Metro 2033 for $230 seems nice.

Nice call. I had been looking at the gigabyte model but my last nvidia cards have been evga brand and the free game sounds like a win!

I went ahead and bit on the 460 but I went with the lifetime warranty version for $10 more. Hopefully this should last me thru an upgrade to an i7
