A friend of mine would like to upgrade the video graphics in his Emachine T624 which appears to use integrated ATI express 200 graphics. He likes games like CIV 4 and is not a big fps, so the best of the best out there aren't what I'm looking for. I initially thought that the 7600 GT or X1650XT would be good, but I am a bit hesitant to suggest these due to their power use. The stock power supply for that system is 300 W from what I can tell, and frankly I wouldn't want to have him try to change that as it may or may not be a non-atx PS.

Anyways, I was hoping someone could offer some suggestions either for the items I mentioned or something that might be a better all around fit.

Thanks

A 300W PSU will run a 7600GT or X1650XT in nearly all situations. What else is in the laptop?
