I've searched High and Low for any information about upgrading Video cards in newer laptops, there is none from what i can tell. My laptop comes with the Nvidia GeForce 4 440 Go, 64 Mb Dedicated. I've been searching the Nvidia website, and looking at there Mobile video cards. For the Geforce 4 Go, they have the 4200, i would like to upgrade to that Video card at the least, The FX's or heck the 6800, but im pretty sure i can't with thoses ones, Now does anyone know if it is possible for me to upgrade my Video card in my Laptop, the Compaq Presario R3240us from the Geforce 4 440 Go, to the Geforce 4 4200 Go? the reason i want the 4200 is becuase it supports Pixel Shading, as where the 440 does not. so if anyone can help me, id really like it, nopoint in talking to Compaq, there no help, they don't got Tech support for Advancded users. I've asked around at stores, and they don't know. So please help me.
