Hello everyone,

I am buying a very cheap computer to connect to my 43" TV. I want to be able to write the quick email, surf the internet and watch movies (mainly) on my 43" TV.

How does TV OUT look on a TV of this size? Is there a difference between the TV OUT a couple years ago and now?

If so, what would you recommend as a good TV OUT card?

Thanks,
Derek

If your TV is an HDTV it looks pretty good. If it's a standard 480i set, not so great.

It is an HDTV set. The back of the card is SVIDEO. Is there something I can get to convert it to component video (RGB)?

Should I buy a newer video card (I have te Geforce 2 GTS) in order to get better tv out?

Thanks,
derek

I don't think there's a good way of getting component out of a GTS.

s-video will be ok for movies and games without text.

Text will not look so hot though.

Does your TV have DVI or HDMI input on it?

If it's just component I would suggest looking for a card that can output HDTV res via component.
