The Sims (with 2 expansion packs) has worked without fail for me until we got a new video card, Nvidia fx 5700LE, about a month ago. Everything else on the computer works, but now when I either put in the CD-ROM, access it from the Start menu, or Run it, the splash screen appears, but when I click 'Play' it disappears and goes back to the desktop like normal, instead of going full screen.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, troubleshooting the video card (which it says is working properly), restarting the computer, and going to www.thesims.com for their Help section.
