Hi all,
I am building a new system around a MSI K7T266 Pro2 mobo. I was thinking of keeping my current video card...Herc. Prophet Geforce 2 MX. However now that I have the bug I am considering a new video card also. I'm too cheap to be on the bleeding edge but I would like some opinions on what is a good "value" on a card that would be faster than my current one?
Btw I will probably stick with a 17" monitor.

you really need to give a price range, and tell us what you need. A good video card is subjective.
 
Geforce 3 Ti 200 is probably the cheapest upgrade you could do where you will see a noticeable improvement. Runs about $180 these days i believe.
