is this even possible? two dual link DVI outputs for 30" apple flat screens, and one 1080p HDMI output for a plasma TV.

what video cards/motherboard would i need for this?

8800gt for the dual apples, you could then get another one, and run them not in SLI mode, or I believe there are plain old PCI tv tuner cards that would drive your tv..Cards running in SLI mode will only allow for one monitor iirc.

edit, damn why did I type 8500, noone should ever get that

Make sure the 8500s have TWO dual-link DVI connectors, I know the 8800 series does for sure but the lower end cards may not.

Use Matrox TripleHead2Go. Here is a link discussing it on Wide Screen Gaming forums.

The unit limits you to output of the lowest res monitor so he would only be running the apples at 1920x1080 instead of their native resolution.
