video card selection help

I am building a computer for my aunt, uncle, and cousin. It will mostly be used for word processing, internet, and gaming. I originally planned on buying the voodoo3 3000 agp for about $110 at buy.com with a $30 mail in rebate, but they are out of stock.

I am interested in a decent agp video card that is around 80 bucks or less. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Unless you are short on PCI slots, you may want to consider a Voodoo 3 PCI card. Either the 3000 or 2000 would probably meet your needs and would cost $60 to $100 or so depending on version and rebate. I have two of the V3 3000 PCI cards and they work great with fewer issues than the AGP cards (apparently some motherboards don't supply enough power to the AGP slot for the V3 and Geforce cards). All the reviews I have seen show very little performance difference between the V3 AGP and PCI cards.
