Video card saying not enough power, AGAIN

Im running on:

Chaintech VNF4 Ultra
Kingston Hyper X 512 x 2 Dual channel
74 giger raptor
3000+ zalman cu-7000
Enermax fan controller
Cooler Master 450 ACLY PSU
BFG 6600GT
NEC 3520A

OK, that isnt even much AT ALL. I only got a 120mm fan for exhaust and a vantec fan to cool the raptor. Im pretty sure that there are people out there with the same psu that run a higher system in mine just fine. I just recently sold my ocz modstream 450 via this forum and bought the cooler master. It has more stable voltages and PFC so it is better than the OCZ imo. My 12v line is higher and more stable, which is what really matters too. Why in the world is my video card reporting that its not getting enough power!?!?! I already have the aux power plugged into the mobo. I downloaded some mobo monitoring program that said my Aux was at 2.4? The trail ran out so i dont really remember the exact number but it displayed it in red so that probably means thats really low. So could it be my mobo? Anyone think Chaintech could be a problem? Anyone else on the same mobo have this issue?

no 6600gt does but perhaps they should have made one ;((( soo pissed i cannot play bf2 or source at a higher quality, perhaps ill just overclock my cpu a little to make up

it did not work before the OCZ, thats why i bought the cooler master, thinking that a more stable 12v rail was needed as the 12v rail on the ocz was lower and less stable..

feelingsshorter, can you describe what happens when you don't have enough power?

Reason I ask is b/c I just built a new AMD64 system w/ DFI mobo and the same cooler master 450w PSU.

On stock settings, I tried running WoW and 3 times my comp just shut down...well sorta shut down, like windows shutdown, but the fans/lights were still running. I had to hard shut down to copmletely get it off.

So is that the same problem as you? I hope I don't need to get an even more powerful PSU.

My guess is it's the VC. Try contacting BFG support and see what they say.
Coul also be a MB issue. Maybe there is a problem with the PCI-e slot.

Make sure the external molex is connected, if not, the nvidia driver will detect and reduce the speed to compensate

Also might wanna be sure that the power cable isn't being shared with another device, especially the hard drive. I've always been a little concerned that my videocard might suck a lot of juice, so it always got its own cable that had nothing else attached..I previously had a V5 5500 PCI on an Enermax 350, now I have a vanilla 6800 on an Enermax 465.
