Video card reviews....in particular ATI

hi,

i've been dithering for the past few days on which card to get. in nearly every instance (at least that i've found) the reviews focus on the "pro" series, and not the "non-pro". i'd like to see both versions side by side and see exactly what the difference is for the money. does anyone know of reviews that do both non-pro and pro versions side-by-side?

Try these. But generally, most sites will only compare cards against the models they match up with on price.

I'd go for a 9600 or something.. good performance for the price.

don't have to get a pro, the extra money really isn't worth it, IMO.. unless you have money to burn.

look at reviews for a 9700 pro, performance is identical to 9800np give or take 1-2%

Stop dithering! Antialias your thoughts then clarify with anisotropic filtering. It will make more sense that way and lead to a better (re)solution!
