My GeForce3 ti200 (Gainward ti/450 128mb) isn't working anymore, so I have to get a new one :) What do you guys recommend? Since I have to buy a new one, I might as well get a better one if that's possible. I'm looking at videocards $130 or so and under. I haven't kept up with the newest models, etc. So, I was wondering what you guys would recommend. If some card is $80 and better than what I had, please say so... I'd like to save money, but would consider spending around $130 or so, too, if it's worth it.

I play the occasional game, too, so please take that into account!

Windows xp, celeron 1.8 ghz or so, 256mb ram

Thanks a lot.

ummm

a radeon 8500le 64mb ddr for about 70 bucks will prolly perform similar or a tad better than that (from what ive read)

but for 100 to 150 id get a good gf4 4200, alot of people say they will often oc to 4600 speeds, i definitely would have gotten one myself if my budget had allowed, as it is, the radeon 8500 isnt a bad card for the money

The RADEON 8500 retail (275/275) has been discontinued. The new RADEON 9100 is to take its place. Consider that card for yourself as it blows away the RADEON 9000 Pro due to its 2 texture units per pixel pipeline.:)
