My brother is looking into a new video card. He just got a motherboard about a year ago and doesn't want to get a new one so his current one does not support pci-express. I know he doesn't want to spend a ton of money. Which one would be goo preferably between 100-200 maybe a little more than 200, i haven't asked him. also should i look into a vga or pci vid card? thanks

If he has an AGP slot, the best option for him is a X1950 Pro, which has 256mb/512mb depending on the maker. It's more than 200, but it's the best for AGP at the moment. I don't know if there are any new cards for PCI.

At this point in the game x1950pro or complete system upgrade.
