Video card recomendation

I have a relative that has a budget machine with on board video and he wants to play a few games, mostly NASCAR, and wants me to get a video card for it.

Here is the specs...

Intel Celeron D 3.2 processor
1 gig DDR2 533
ECS 945GZT-M mobo

It has a PCI express lite slot but its only X4 bandwidth 😱 from what I seen on the ECS website...

So my question is considering the watered down PCI express slot and somewhat pitiful specs of the CPU what would be the best budget video card to get for it?

Probably needs to stay in the $50 - $75 range......

Thanks!

Thanks for the link!!!!

The AGP version required a molex plug-in for extra 12 Volt current, and a 350 watt PSU. The PCIe version will probably still have similar current requirements, even if it can get its entire supply through the slot (the AGP bus has a lower current maximum than PCIe does).

Yeah, it's OEM, but looking at the pictures that pcie card doesn't have extra power connectors, so he'll be ok 😛
