video card reccomendations

A friend of mine recentley built a computer a little while ago, and now dislikes his current video card. He has a radeon x800gto 512mb, with pipes unlocked and clocked to 500/1050, and wants another video card, pci-e flavor for his system. specs are as follows:
Asrock geforce 6100 mobo
sempron (754) 3100
1gb memory,
x800gto 512mb

He is trying to get some more bang for his buck, and wants to Get a better video card, but has about 60 in change. What should he get with his card plus a trade in? Thanks!
 
well, his card should be worth around $110-120, so with another $60 he could get a OC'd 7600GT, like the eVGA N553AX or XFX 7600GT XXX. Both of those cards would be better than his current card, but I don't think the difference is worth $60. I think he should save up and get an X1800XT for $269 AR or a 7900GT.

Or he could wait for a rebate and get the X1800GTo for $199 and try to do the GTO-XL-XT unlock/OC
