Video Card Questions/Reccomendations..GE-MX or Rad-LE

I have a few questions, and any help would be appreciated.
I'm trying to decide on either the Herc GeforceMX or the RadeonLE (with hacked hyp-z and O.C. a little to) for my P2 450

Which videocard is faster in lower res (800 or 1024)& 16bit color and which is less CPU dependant?...so it actually would work on my system. I dont want to buy a vidcard just to find out that it performs like crap because it only performs decent on a high-end cpu. (I remember Voodoo cards being faster for lower end systems than nvidias back in the day)

Which has better looking or faster FSAA?

I mostly play driving sims btw (gpl,f1rc,n4,f1cs2k)

I'd go with the Voodoo5-5500, It has the best FSAA in the business and is right up there with the 64MB Radeon. The drivers are exceptionally stable (unlike nVidia's) and the price is very low right now.
