The specs show the PCI_E1 slot with x16 operation (PCI Express Bus SPEC V2.0 compliant) and the
PCI_E2 slot with x8 operation (PCI Express Bus SPEC V2.0 compliant).
I'm looking at the SAPPHIRE 100311-2SR Radeon HD 6970 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity.
The motherboard says is is PCI Express 2.0 compliant and the video card is PCI Express 2.1 compliant. The question is whether there will be any compatibility issues? Or is PCI Express 2.1 backward compatible to V 2.0?
