video card question concerning power supply

My computer has a 460 watt power supply, 110 V at 50/60 Hz. Is this enough for one of the newer 512mb video cards that require minimum 450w? I know 460 is more than 450, but is it a problem to be so close to the minimum? I'm looking at the x1900 xtx or the not yet released 7900 cards. Thanks for any help.

Oh yeah, my comp is a Dell Gen4 XPS. So, I don't think a new psu is an option. Everything in there is upgradable except for psu and motherboard. That's what I've heard anyway.

It should be perfectly fine. Dell uses quality power supplies. I'd only worry if it was a $20 special from CompUSA.

mwmorph-

I opened the case and looked, the tag was in a hard place to see. The PSU is big and flat, basically the bottom of the case. It looked like +12v ====17DA, and +5====2DA. At least they looked like DA's. What does that stand for?

Also, this info was available on Dell's site. I don't know if it helps any.

DC power supply:

Wattage

460 W

Heat dissipation

931.2 BTU/hr

Voltage (See the safety instructions located in the Product Information Guide for important voltage setting information.)

fixed-voltage power supply ? 110 V at 50/60 Hz

manual selection and auto-sensing power supplies ? 90 to 135 V at 50/60 Hz; 180 to 265 V at 50/60 Hz; 100 V at 50/60 Hz for Japanese computers
