Uhm, since when do ANY consumer power supplies have "surge protection" built in?

So great, your video card's supplementary power supply is protected; your mainboard including the power supply and I/O voltage to the video card, hard drive, optical drive, CPU, memory, sound card, tv tuner, monitor, speakers, printer, mouse and keyboard will just have to fend for themselves.
