OK well.. I just got a new computer and theres already a problem.
When I boot it up it loads just fine until I log on to my account on XP. Its on AutoLogin or whatever so it takes me right to my account and as soon as the Windows XP loading screen is finished loading, the resolution switches to 640x400. Along with that the color turns to absolute poo. Then after about 10 seconds of being at the desktop a windows error pops up and reboots the pc. Theres a bubble that pops up that says that the color depth and resolution is too low. If i click on it im right away rebooted. Any advice?

What did you install in the way of vid card drivers? Or has this happened from the start? Is it possible to use the computer by just ignoring the bubble?

Well first off my internet wasnt working yet for some reason so I installed the drivers given. Once my internet was working I got the newdrivers straight from ATI. When I started the first time, it shows a page that has the mobo name at boot up along with the regular BIOS button stuff and that looked like absolute poo. So from the start that was the only thing I noticed wierd. Its not possible to run it with ignoring the bubble because no matter what it reboots after 10 seconds.
