video card pricing, WTF?

This is really more a whine post, but c'mon these video card prices are fluctuating way too much. I've been waiting for some price drops on the 7900GS or 1950pro, but they actually went up! Back in march they had a deal on a 7900gs card for 90$, then last month I could only find it for 110 at the cheapest. Now, it's back to around $150?? The pricing of the 1950pro cards have been pretty weird too. I'd have thought with the release of all the dx10 cards prices would drop more. What the hell.....

nV & AMD are too smart for their own good. :frown:

Their new gen mid range is basically garbage, so the last gen higher end has become highly desired, which is partially why you see the pricing BS...
