Video Card Performance Ranking - 3DMark

Hey,

Kinda lost track of which model video card is better than another - Futuremark/3DMark used to have a page on their site with the 10 top performing video cards. Does anyone know if there is such a ranking somewhere -

I kinda got lost after the Ti4600 and the Radeon 9700 Pro -

Appreciate any help you can offer -

Lou

who cares what the friggin card makes in 3dmark... its FPS my friend. Theres some video articles about video cards themselves on this webpage. Budget and high end all in the same page. Check it out...

IMO 3DMark 2001 is very useful for testing your own system optimizations and overclocking to see how it is helping you for gaming purposes. Its a good tool to measure overall system performance. I don't think its good for comparing with other people though because of all the tweaks you can use (unless you know all the tweaks and benching is your thing).

You guys have been very helpful - Thanks.

But I do believe that 3Dmark has some value, as a general reference to video card performance. If you dont keep up all the time with the new cards, you end of loosing track of what is bad, good and ugly -

I can hit 17,000 with my system stock.
Hit 20,000+ with it overclocked. Just a 9700pro with added cooling.
