Video Card Overclocking Question!!!

Ok, I have a gf4 ti4200 overclocked to 275 core, 560 memory. Anyways I was playing a game and all of a sudden the monitor lost signal from the video card and said that it could not find a signal. I rebooted the computer and all was well. My question is, what could cause that kind of an error? Is it because of my video card being overclocked too high?

BTW, i'm usin the 43.45 drivers.

I really don't know. Try setting your card back to default. If it happens at default then you found your answer.

FYI...
You might want to supply other hardware items to better analyse your problem.

loose connection maybe?

happend to me once the monitor constantly looses the signal and didn't realize that by pressing the reset buttom it slowly moved the cable at the back. 😱

BTW, I have a PNY TI4200 o/c to 285/600, slowly trying to reach 300 core feq
