I was debating on what to buy: First of all, I play a $#it load of video games but, I also wanna capture video from my TV (coax or RCA) for editing. Should I get a capture card and an insanely fast video card, i.e. GeForce 2? Or should I get a video card like the All-in-Wonder, with coax in? What is the quality of a video feed coming into the card? Can I record the feed I receive from the card? Is it broadcast quality? How much FPS (frames per second)? I know that good (reasonable in price) capture cards only capture 20-30 fps and will cost me about $200-$300. A GeForce2, in addition to that, would cost me about $300. That's about a $600 total.
Bottom line is, I play video games, but I don't really care if I get the best graphics: just as long as it is smooth and good quality gaming. And, I want to edit video but, I do want broacast quality for personal use and for web posting. Should I get a capture card and a kick @$$ video card or should I go with a video card with coax and/or RCA ins; i.e. ATI All-in-Wonder?
