Video card on one line or two?

Alright, I don't know how to put this, because the "theory" of power supplies still boggles my mind. But I have an x1950gt AGP which has two 4 pin power connectors on it. My power supply has 2 12V rails with 17A on each apparently. There are two lines from my PSU which have 3 4 pin power connectors on them. My question is, do I use only one of those lines to connect to my video card, or do I use one connector for each line? Or does it not make any difference?

I would suggest using one from each line, just because that puts the load across both lines so you don't accidentally overheat any wires. You shouldn't but it doesn't hurt to be safe.
