Video Card- New one?

Well, I'm at home now with my laptop which is a Toshiba Satellite, 512 RAM, 2.39 GHz and an ATI Mobility Radeon video card.

My only problem is that the video card version that I have isn't supported by ATI anymore, so there are no driver updates for it.

Is it possible for me to get a new video card on my laptop? Since it is nearly impossible to play Counter Strike on it without getting skippy and choppy.

Thanks.

James

it is but hardly practical. going inside it is hard so i would advise having someone do it for you if you really wanted the hassle. but yes you can, i have the same problem on my mobility radeon laptop

its a major hassle opening a laptop...its not difficult but it takes time...and upgrading graphic cards is not that easy in laptops since the new one may not fit in ur lappie...try getting a Mobility 9800Pro, im pretty sure it should fit in there!
