OK, hopefully I got this right since my order from Newegg has already shipped. My mob is an MSI K7 master which supports DDr memory. My video card is a Leadtek Geforce2 with 32mb of SDram. IFIF I understand correctly, these should be compatible. Did I get it right or do I need to order a video card with DDr?
-Thanks.

if your mobo is DDR compatible for RAM, it has nothing to do with having to get a DDR video card, so you're safe!

now what processor did you get etc? I'm upgarding from 900 mhz..what did you upgrade from?:)

Thanks. I am upgrading from an AMD 400mhz. My new system will be :
the MSI k7 Master with 760 chipset and onboard audio, my processor will be the AMD 1.4ghz Thunderbird, 256mb DDr, Leadtek Geforce2, Toshiba 16/48 DVD, and an Enlight mid-tower case - 7237, I think.
I am using the cdrw and hard drive (40gig Maxtor 7200rpm) from my old computer and starting from scratch on everything else.

lucky you will see a huge performance increase, me ...=(
900 to 1.4tgz...barely nothing in gaming!!! Nowa new video card over voodoo 5 would help...I'm buying a new 24X lite on CDRW over my 4X, a new 80 GIG HD to replace my 10 GIG HD, and 256 DDR RAM...but I wonder if I should go ATI or Nvidia geforce3 now...

I need help.
