I'm considering buying a Radeon X850 PE and I was wondering which would be the better manufacturer to get it from. The choices are:

-Asus
-Gigabyte
-MSI
-Sapphire

I'm not too fussed over which is the cheapest or most expensive because price isnt really a problem to me, I am more interested with things like warranties(e.g BFG's Lifetime warranty) and which has the more powerful version (like BFG does with its version of the nVidia GeForce 7800GTX).

I would go Asus then Sapphire. Ive owned various cards from both companies and they never let me down.

I have purchased various sapphire cards myself and they have always been very reliable. I think I will go with the sapphire version. I did a little digging and found that they are more or less the same except for the packaging and how the card looks. No real difference in the specs or bundled cables/software.

Thanks for the info it helped.

Also could anybody recommend some good surge supressors/protectors? Since im building a very expensive system I don't want to lose all the cash I spend. (I say this because i just lost some memory and my motherboard a few months ago because of one.)

I don't want to start any kind of debate but with you refering to the BFG twice and stateing money was no object why are you not getting a 7800GTX.

Well I probably contradicted myself there, but I have always had problems with nVidia cards, in total I have purchased around 6 cards and 4 have been ATi and only 2 nVidia and each nVidia card has failed on me within the first 6 months of me buying them. ATi cards have not once failed me and they still work even now. I have no clue why they stopped working(could be down to compatibility issues as an example) but I don't really wanna spend all that cash on a GPU that would fail (It probably wont but I'm not willing to risk it).

I refered to BFG 7800 GTX because it was the only examples I could think of from the top of my head :p

~Edit~
By meaning price was no issue I was refering to between those brands since an extra few $$$ doesnt really matter. Sorry I tend to not explain things fully : /
