Pretty simple... There are a lot of posts asking which brand to choose, so lets rate them...

For consistency here are a few guidelines:
- If you haven't owned that brand, don't answer that one.
- If you've had good and bad experiences with a manufacturer, give them your overall rating.

Hopefully we can collect some data based on real world experiences that will be useful to someone trying to decide which card to buy. If I left any manufacturers out (which I'm sure I did), let me know.

I voted on all of mine, I owned all recent video cards made by most of those manufactuers except Leadtek/HIS/Sapphire

WHO on EARTH voted bad for eVGA?

Me, I recently purchased a evga 7600GT and the damn thing does nothing but stutter if overclocked or set to non default mhz on core/mem. I clocked it lower and it does the same thing. I told them what drivers I had, mobo, PSU and he started saying that it is probably a driver problem. I explained to him I have tried three driver revisions, I was so mad because he did not know what he was talking about.

I was fed up with the card again and called them, same thing happend. I asked to speak with someone higher then him and I told him the situation and he explained to me it is a bad card, apparently in his words 75% of the first edition 7600 cards have a faulty bios and bad PCB. I asked him why no one else would tell me this and he said that they are trying on a bios revision and once it was made they would tell people.

Kinda weird eh?

I usually just fill out an RMA request, that way I don't have to mess around with their support staff.

Gigabyte can suck a fat one. My gigabyte motherboard started killing my video cards (went through 3 of them) and I called them to RMA the board. They REFUSE to do an advanced RMA (i really didn't want to wait 3 weeks to get a new board) and I told them that I couldn't really wait for a new board. The asshole I talked to said buy a new board or use a friend's computer. So after that, I'll never buy any more of their products again. Period. Asus, I've had several Asus boards crap out on me (both times due to a BIOS flash). So i'm neutral on them.

Just voted good service for eVGA. Just about every card I've owned is from them. Love their lifetime warranty. Their rma process is painless, their cross ship option is great. Putting both of them to good use now as I'm one of those lucky 7900 owners.

No service needed with Leadtek, eVGA, XFX, or Gainward. All my cards from them worked well and lasted until I got rid of them (although the XFX was an FX5200 and had blurry 2D, but that's naught to do with the service of the company).

Had good service with Connect3D when I got a Radeon 9500 from them that artifacted stock. The replacement took a little over a week, but I had no trouble getting in contact with them and it was all fairly hassle free.

I have a feeling Leadtek is going to only get "no services needed" votes...their cards are that damn good, but warranty sucks.

Well, that ended quick, and it was me.

I had a 6800GT that went bad. Their RMA "Department", which consists of one person, claimed for a month that I had not sent the card in and never recived it, even though I had his signature signing for it. As soon as I told him that I was going to starts filing complaints, he somehow found it right there.

I got back a GeForce 5200.

It took me three more weeks to get a 6800GT, as he claimed he did not have any.

What I got was the dustiest 6800GT you will ever set your eyes upon, but atelast it worked.

I filed a complaint with the CA Attorney General, and BBB. I was sent another 6800GT, which was also clearly used majorly, so I eBayed them both.

Never again, Leadtek; you have broken my heart.
