Video Card makes computer crash

I just installed a PCI Nvidia Vanta w/ TV out video card into a computer. It is the second video card in the machine. Its primary purpose is to output powerpoint presentations. Well, after i install the drivers i found from nvidia's website, and reboot, the computer will not load up Windows. It will crash at the splash screen. If i go into safe mode, remove the card, then it will boot just fine. Does anybody know why it would crash my computer? Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!

its also a PCI video card. The computer is fairly old, so i would say its only a 4mb generic video card. I don't know the model of it but i can find out and post that soon.

Possibly the mobo doesn't like two cards to choose from.

Remove the card and drivers for the original and just use the Vanta.
