I'm purchasing one of two Video cards. Voodoo 3 3000 (as far as Tv out goes it does not interest me) or Diamond Viper 770 Ultra. Older cards but tell me what you think or if this is a "No Brainer".

The only help I can give is to say I really enjoyed the Diamond Viper series of cards. I had the v330, v550 and v770 at one time or another. Although, I'm not exactly sure how it would hold up against the voodoo3.
 
I have a viper 770 ultra, and I am most satisfied with it! Along with a P3-450, I can still play Counter-strike decently. Plus it has and excellent 2D rendering.
 
see if you can get one of the non-diamond ultra's.

V3 is a darn good card, but I had both, and the TNT2U was my main gaming card.
