I have a 9800pro with sufficent power going to it. benchmarks fine, but in some games, performance is unacceptable. anytime that sims is maxed detail, with smooth edges max, fps drop to 3 no matter the resolution. no smooth edges brings it back to normal~ 17fps at 10x7(it should be 36 avg fro max detail, max smoothedges as reported by some bbenchmarks)?
in Brothers In arms, 10x7 all max gives me around ~22fps average. IDK what BIA should run, but does softlighting give too much of a performance boost if turned off?
