Video Card is choppy?

Hello I am having toubles with my new video card. I installed in and i was going to play some games and they were way choppy, I couldn't really even play them and the resolution was set to 1024x780 so it wasnt even that high. The card i have is a radeon 9100 128 DDR pci version. I have the latest drivers for it too. Here is my system specs.

Win xp pro
1 gig ddr ram
asus a7n8x deluxe
amd xp 2600

Any advice of things to check?

sounds like wrong drivers, but you are in the WRONG section, please read the Do not post troubleshooting questions here at the top of this section
