video card installation

I have just installed a HIS Excalibur 9600 pro in windows xp pro ,when i open device manager it shows two display adaptors installed one is listed as radeon 9600 and the other is listed as radeon 9600 secondary.When i delete the secondary one window just installs it again on reboot,as this is the first radeon card i have used i was wondering if this is normal.

It is probably just listing two of them because it has two RAMDAC's for two monitor outputs. That's perfectly normal.

Normal if you go to add remove to remove the display driver it'll ask to remove agp primary and pci secondary.
