I am need of a new video card as my system is becoming outdated w/ all of these new games...

The only thing is I am fine with my old TNT2 32 Meg card its just I cant play new games like Battle Field 1942 and HaloPC, So I dont want to spend more than $100 on a new one.

My question is though I am looking at pricewatch at the lower end cards and see a few options, Should I go with the higher priced cards like the GeForce4 TI 4200 128 Meg ($99) or since I am not to inclined on how pure the graphics are I mainly just want to play them would a lower priced card like the RADEON 9200 128 Meg ($52) [And whats the difference between 9200 and 9200 SE?]

Is there that much of a difference that I should spend the extra $50?

Any help would be appriciated, or any suggestions of different cards for around $100 or less that would be a good replacement?

Thanks in advance
Wookie

id start of by saying get the ti4200 which is the best card under $100....u will able to get playable fpses in newr games as well....

But if u just wanna play halo and BF a 9100 should do....a 9100 i better than a 9200..... The second edition og the 9200 is clocked slower than the origianl one......

Also if u want a futureproof card get $50 more and go for a radeon 9600 pro.....It will surely beat any other card mentioned easlily

Another vote for the Ti4200 in case you're still deciding. The other option for a bit cheaper in the $50 range would be a Radeon 9100 (same thing as a 8500LE)

I usually don't recommend this, but I would wait until december, then you could get a nice priced video card significantly faster than the Ti4200.
